Peter “Pete” Buttigieg of Rome

FACT
Peter Paul Montgomery Buttigieg came from the real Roman Empire. His seed is of the sovereign island of Malta.

Shall this be considered in the case of the Bishop Malachy prophecy?

In following the rise of Pete Buttigieg on his possible ascension to the US Presidency, as leader of the free world (see AC Rising https://daniels70thshavua.com/2019/04/11/ac-rising/), this article will append his background on his Roman Empire lineage for the consideration. Believe me, we will not be the first to consider him. He is probably pre-qualified.

Malachiy’s Prophecy (1139)

In a recent interview with Paul Badde, Archbishop Georg Gänswein—Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI’s personal secretary and Prefect of the Papal Household—briefly discussed a collection of predictions purported to have been made by St. Malachy in the 12th century. Due to the renewed interest in the alleged “Prophecy of St. Malachy” that resulted from the interview, the Register is re-running this article, which originally appeared on February 24, 2013 – Jimmy Akinn (ncregister.com/blog/jimmy-akin/9-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-prophecy-of-st.-malachy)

The Story Bishop of Armagh, Ireland, Malachy was summoned to Rome in 1139 by Pope Innocent II to receive two wool palliums for the metropolitan sees of Armagh and Cashel. While in Rome, Malachy purportedly experienced a vision of future popes, which he recorded as a sequence of cryptic phrases. This document was locked up until it was made known centuries later in the Roman Catholic Church.
The alleged prophecies were first published by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion in 1595.  The intrigue in this document lists a finite number of Catholic popes until the Second Coming. Since there are only 112 popes in the document, people speculate about the 112th pope, who is Jorge Bergoglio, known as Papa Francesco in Italian.

The 112th entry reads like this.

In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit.

Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus, quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & judex tremendus judicabit populum suum. Finis.

This may be translated into English as:

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge[a] will judge his people. The End.

The part about Pete Buttigieg that we take note of is his first name “Peter” that identifies with the Malachy’s document. His father’s country origin, Malta, now becomes an identifier of his direct lineage from the Roman Empire, more son than many other European countries today.

During the Punic Wars, between 264 – 146 B.C, the Romans took control of Malta.

Western Roman rule over Malta, following the final division of the Roman Empire.
