(Jesus is God, the Lord and the Son of God.)
“God” is the word in an English translation attempt. Elohim is the title in the original language, Hebrew, used in the Scripture. By declaring that Jesus is God and He is the Son of God, this declaration is not saying that Jesus is the Father. He is the only (haYakhid), begotten son of the Father.
Here at the Pesach seder on Abib 14 (John 14 discourse), commonly referred to as “The Last Supper” in the Gentile Church, Eashoa lays down the truth. In this discourse we glean certain heavenly treasures.
“Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, so that where I am you may also be. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.
- Eashoa: Trust in God; trust also in Me.
- Trust in God and trust in His Word (Eashoa).
I have talked a few times about a family of people that I met at a church that I used to attend for two years plus a few months. They lost the father figure and the breadwinner of the family to stage 4. They are big believers in God. However, case in point, I personally cannot say for sure they also believed in the Word of God — Eashoa. I wish that all who call themselves believers have a relationship with the Lord, Eashoa.
- Eashoa: In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
Eashoa came in the First Coming as a human being, He grew up in a blue collar home a son of a general contractor. Translation attempt at the word Tekton gives carpenter. But the profession is more like a foreman or a craftsman. And that is what the Word had been doing all along since Genesis 1. In John 1, the Apostle further affirmed the Maker.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2The same was in the beginning with God.
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Eashoa will be building with His hands new work, according to this verse. While everthig raw element had been created by the Father, the Word is the One who is still making things that contain the original elements. In the heavenly places, He will build places of abode for those who are His disciples.
- Eashoa: If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to Myself, so that where I am you may also be.
Let me highlight certain words from this verse to cause you to pay attention to them.
Where I AM is you may also be.
And you know the Way to where I AM going.
You know The Way.
Where I AM is going.
Continuing down this narrative, Eashoa confirms all the titles that He has used above in this eternal truth.
6 Jesus saith unto him,
I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
When the Word of יהוה met with Moshe in the land of the Midians at the burning bush, He advised this is His name. Shemot 3.
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14And God said unto Moses,
I AM THAT I AM:
and he said,
Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
15And God said moreover unto Moses,
Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
