If you have high brows, if you are easily offended for the perfection you seek in yourself as for others, you could be looking in the mirror mostly for posing. The mirror is also good for introspective. If you see a spinach caught between the canines, take it out just between you and you.
Any one of us must remember that there is a grace period upon others, be it shorter or longer. Toward people that you don’t even know, judging them actually is just venting to the world about how discontent you are in your life. That is the time when you sleep alone and the Lord is knocking on your front door.
If one steps on a warm do do, he should be given the chance to clean it out of his sole before he gets in my house. I would be motivated to help him in the effort.
But you don’t INVITE the same person in your house with the do do on his sole and tread all over your white thick pile rug in the dining room. Will you? if this person persists in finding do do’s to coat the soles of his shoes, he will always be knee high in do do’s.
That person has been given a chance, or two, and help from me. But he has a fetish with finding do do’s. Then you LET HIM GO.
it is a double edged sword, would you agree?
With YH we are never alone and it is not of our choice to turn Him on and off.
He is not a genie.
For that truth to manifest, He walks wit us when we shine and He walks beside us too when we fail, when we sin, when we stab others.
If we truly live in that reality, to be a holy believer will almost be automatic!
And it is to that reality that Eashoa will exercise judgment on how we believe in Him upon the throne. Our quality will be tested by fire. In this passage Paul used the terminology of the day of fire.
Fairweather believers will be rejected.
Sinners who make the free choice decision to walk apart from God will be forever apart from God.
Teshuvah. Turn back.
