Worship Of Angels Is Wrong
Do not worship angels. Angels are only creatures.
Colossians 2:18 Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind;
The entity that appears as “like a son of man” in Revelation 14 is not the Lord Jesus. To John, he looks like a son of man. It only means in Hebrew idiom a figure that appears in the form of a man. One head, two arms, one body, two legs, in proportion to humankind.
We need to make this clear. John did not say that figure wearing a crown is God, nor Eashoa, and we shall look into even the type of crown that the angel wears. Those who hold to this belief do so by conjecture and estimation. Some may be reaching for a lack of Biblical figure vocabulary. That is the act of condensing the Biblical characters into a few known characters to them by combining them. But that idea may be a snare that lead people to breaking the First Commandment. If you believe this is a serious matter, read on.
While most people do not read the Book of Revelation, such as the regular Calvinist (“what’s the point?”) those few who read it have a range of interpretations. By the council of the wise, we may help each other to piece the fragments of correct and anointed interpretations together. But those that rely on their own intelligence to come to their own conclusions are usually a working of error.
Some people have been making this mistake for assuming characters to be Jesus. Does it matter? It is breaking the law of rendering worship to a creature. Angels are creatures of God. Man is creature of God. Just as it is wrong to render worship to a man, it is just as wrong to render worship to another creature, be that a Disney doll, a Marvel character, your wife or, an angel. Jesus is the Maker of all things (John 1| 1-3).
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Jesus made every angel creature. We must not worship a thing that was made by Jesus. I worship You, Eashoa, Almighty God. There is none like You.
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.
Angels or ministering spirits wear crowns in the heavenly places. John received a glimpse into the impossible and wrote it down.
4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.
Only the Deity Jesus, wears many crowns. One of those crowns that was seen by many hundreds of people was His crown of thorns.
12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.
Diadems are royal crowns that are passed down or coronated by the bloodline. All of the kings in the House of Judah belonged to the House of David, which was a royal House chosen by God. In the Second Coming, upon His appearance on a white horse, Eashoa is seen in a vision to be wearing diademata (many crowns of the royal caliber).
Angels have appeared in human appearances in Genesis and in Daniel. Gabriel came in the form of a son of man to meet with Daniel.
9|20 (Daniel:) While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the Lord my God for the holy hill of my God, 21 while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice.
Let Us Reason Together
If the figure in Revelation 14 is to be interpreted to be Jesus, why would John, who identified Him in chapter 1, now and all of a sudden, not recognize Him this time? Revelation is about the revelation of Jesus Christ. This premise shall deeply question the interpretation of the angel in chapter 14 to be the Lord.
In Revelation 5, angels address the Lamb in praise and worship. The figure in Revelation 14 |14 was “told” by an angel to swing the sickle. Such an act seemed disrespectful if the angel was hollering to the Creator and the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
The Harvest of the Earth
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia.
DO NOT WORSHIP angels. DO NOT put angels on a pedestal. It is against the Bible torah.
In the Gospel, the Word of God has told His disciples that it will be the angels who will be instructed by Him to be doing the reaping. Jesus is in charge. Scriptures do not contradict.
29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time 👉👉 I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”- – -41 The Son of Man will 👉👉 send his angels, and 👉they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who 👉has ears, let him 👉hear.
Let us render praise to the One that is in charge.
