Elisha The Man Of God Series (5)

Foreword

Have you ever come across a sore loser? They know that they cannot win. They know that they have met with defeat. And yet they are bent on destruction. If they cannot hurt you, they hurt something else that you care about, a loved one, your reputation (slander), spreading a lie (gossip) just to spite you. If you have, then we give sympathy to the King of Edom at the end of the Moab war in 2 Kings 3. The loser from Moab stole his son and burned him as a sacrifice.

Aftermath

To recap, the kings of three states joined in alliance to attack Mesha, the king of Moab. Moab was founded by the descendants of Lot and his two daughters out of the incestuous offspring birthed out of their preposterous rationale.

The men of Moab mistakenly pointed to the miraculous water that came out of nowhere, that filled the trenches in the valley of Edom after a morning sacrifice to the true God.

1In the morning, about the time of offering the sacrifice, behold, water came by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

It was unusual that the valley of Edom even had water. But it was God who gave the water as a legacy for His prophet Elisha. So when the morning sun shines on the water the reflection of the water took in the redness of the stones in Edom. To the Moabites, they mistook it as a river of blood. They quickly concluded that the three kings were killing each other across the border in Edom.

Upon the pillage of his country, Mesha knows that there was to be nothing that he can do. He is outnumbered and outwitted with the help of the Prophet Elisha on the side of Jehoshaphat of Judah.

For one last act he led 700 armed soldiers to raid the closest adversary – Edom. This battle turned out to be costly to Edom. The following account speaks to Mesha’s character. His ass deserves to be whopped.

2 Kings 3

26 When the king of Moab saw that the battle was too severe for him, he took with him seven hundred men who drew a sword, to break through to the king of Edom; but they could not. 27 Then he took his oldest son who would have reigned in his place, and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. There was great wrath against Israel; and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

Mesha took the crown prince of the king of Edom and burned him alive on the city wall as a sacrifice to the national deity of Moab – Chemosh (Destroyer). This was Mesha’s retaliation of Edom for plundering and pillaging his state. Spiteful.

Chemosh & Shiva (Destroyer)

Chemosh was the national deity of the Moabites whose name most likely is interpreted destroyer, subduer, or fish god. Interestingly, the name of the angel captain who will lead the army of locust to rise up from the abyss at the sounding of the fifth trumpet is called Apollyon in Greek, or just Apolllo in American.

It is of interest that for 50 years since Apollo 17, no man has walked on the moon.

  • A total of twelve men have landed on the Moon. This was accomplished with two US pilot-astronauts flying a Lunar Module on each of six NASA missions across a 41-month period starting 20 July 1969 UTC, with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on Apollo 11, and ending on 14 December 1972 UTC with Gene Cernan and Jack Schmitt on Apollo 17.

11 They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is “Abaddon”,  but in Greek, he has the name “Apollyon”.

If we all follow the money trail, we will be able to link Chemosh to Apollo the US Space program in 1969 – 1972. The destroyer deity in Hindi is Shiva. Shiva is the mascot deity at the Switzerland campus of the CERN particle collider. The objective of CERN is to open a breach in space and time by the massive energy to be released by the Boson Higg particle under collision. There, the scientists and engineers wanted to know the origin of the Universe.

Chemosh was a god associated with the Semitic mother-goddess Ashtar. The so-called mother goddess is also Ishtar the main prostitute goddess of Babylon. Her version in Western Europe is called the Lady of the Rosary. She is the center of the Mother And Child cult. Her feast is every year in Spring where worshipers of Ishtar observe the feast with bunnies, painted eggs and baskets.

So where is this all leading? The false prophet of Revelation 13. He will come in from many sides but all under the same umbrella leading to one purpose.

Destruction.

The ultimate sacrifice the false prophet wants is the child in Revelation 12.

A great sign was seen in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2 She was with child. She cried out in pain, laboring to give birth. 3 Another sign was seen in heaven. Behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven crowns. 4 His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Her child was caught up to God, and to his throne. 6 The woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they may nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
