Fat Sheep No Chance

John 10:10

I read out today in my discipleship meeting in conjunction with Ezekiel 34|10, which is where the interpretation is provided for the New Testament passage told by Y’shua. It was the Word of God that spoke in Ezekiel 34. It was Y’shua that spoke in John 10, if you notice the similarity.

Therefore, very few people have heard the proper interpretation to date as Scripture interprets Scripture.Let’s take a look in context.

John 10 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture. 10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. Some preachers somehow point to the devil to be the guy that came to steal, kill and destroy.

However, in context, Y’shua was referring back to Ezekiel 34, dated 586 BC, and confirmed it in John 10:8, dated to 30 AD. The people who came before Him were the thieves (steal) and robbers (steal and kill).

Back then He was talking about the false teachers of Israel who received bribes. Today, Jesus is pointing the guys that steal, kill and destroy to the rich sheep today, names that many Christians know of, and some even follow their mega ministries.

Ezekiel 34 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and tell them, even the shepherds, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep? You eat the fat. You clothe yourself with the wool. You kill the fatlings, but you don’t feed the sheep. You haven’t strengthened the diseased. You haven’t healed that which was sick. You haven’t bound up that which was broken. You haven’t brought back that which was driven away. You haven’t sought that which was lost, but you have ruled over them with force and with rigor. They were scattered, because there was no shepherd. They became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth. There was no one who searched or sought.”

Therefore, the son of man came to right a wrong. He is the Good Shepherd that laid down His life for His sheep.
